Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and reconciliations
• Process accounts payable and receivable
• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (BURS, VAT, PAYE,)
• Support audits and liaise with external auditors when required
• Maintain proper filing of financial documents
• Use accounting software and Excel for data analysis and reporting

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years relevant working experience in an accounting role
• Verifiable references from previous employers
• Minimum qualification of AAT (Accounting Technician)
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Experience working with accounting software (e.g. Sage, Pastel, or similar)
• Good understanding of basic accounting principles and financial controls
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Integrity and confidentiality in handling financial information
