VACANCY CIRCULAR NO 11 OF 2019
ADMINISTRATOR – C1
Salary Scale: C1 (P152 724 – 182 484 per annum)
Benefits:
i. Optional Medical Aid Scheme with the Botswana Public Officers Medical Aid Scheme (BPOMAS – Government pays 50% and employee pays 50%)
ii. 36 months contract
iii. Gratuity at the rate of 30% of contract earnings
iv. Leave: 30 working days per annum.
Qualifications: A minimum of Degree in Financial Management, Accounting, Economics, `Business Administration, Administration Officer or any related fields.
Experience: Candidates should have at least two (2) years’ experience in office administration or project administration.
Main Purpose of the Job
To Support the Project Coordinator in all administration functions and processes including managing the Coordinator’s diary.
Key Performance Area
1. Support the Project Coordinator in all administration functions and processes including managing the Coordinator’s diary
2. Facilitate development of project plans and manage them from inception to completion
3. Advice staff on adherence to set budgets and project schedules
4. Analyze data and produce progress reports
5. Coordinate staff schedules
6. Allocate project resources
7. Design and manage project budgets
8. Monitor project progression and adjust logistics accordingly
9. Mediation of conflicts
10. Scheduling of meetings and appointments
11. Manage calls
12. Coordinating meetings, taking minutes and organize meeting venues
13. Updating project calendar
14.Payment of Agency staff salaries and consultants, purchasing of office supplies and related matters
15. Any other duties required to meet the exigencies of the service.
