AIRCRAFT MAINTENANCE ENGINEER – Absolute Aviation 1006 views

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities.
• Conduct fault finding and rectify based on the fault.
• Perform borescope inspection on PT6A-140 engine.
• Perform PT6A-140 engine change.
• Perform Hot Section Module removal.
• Perform engine and flight controls rigging.
• Conduct necessary maintenance tasks to ensure the airworthiness of the aircraft.
• Adhere to established maintenance procedures and safety standards.
• All activities must be properly recorded and signed off as per CAAB requirements ensuring that all the required legal aspects are complied with.
• Maintain the highest quality and standards of inspection.
• Perform towing of aircraft.
• Communicate clearly and professionally to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of maintenance tasks.

Requirements

• Required Qualification/s: Approved Basic training in Aviation and CAAB License.
• Must have a current/valid AME Licence.
• Fully lensed on Cessna 210 and Cessna 208 series.
• At least 3 years’ experience as a Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer on Cessna and Beechcraft.
• BE 20 series will be added advantage or relevant type rating.
• Understanding of technical aircraft publications and documentation.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of aviation regulations and safety standards.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work well in a team.
• Should be able to work overtime if it is required.
• Committed to deliver quality work at all time.
• Very reliable and dependable.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Windows/Microsoft Office.
