Key Responsibilities

  • Collect, clean, manage and analyse quantitative datasets from diverse sources.
  • Build and maintain models (for example energy systems, economic, or scenario models) and conduct statistical analysis.
  • Produce clear data visualisations, dashboards and analytical inputs for reports and briefs.
  • Support methodology design and ensure data quality, reproducibility and documentation.
  • Translate technical findings into accessible insights for non-technical audiences.

Requirements

  • Advanced degree (Master’s degree or equivalent) in a quantitative field such as engineering, data science, statistics, economics, energy or environmental modelling or a related discipline.
  • Experience in applied data analysis.
  • Experience in economic / financial / energy modelling is an added advantage.
  • Proficiency in analytical tools such as Python, R or Stata. Experience with SQL, GIS or data-visualisation tools (for example Power BI or Tableau) is an advantage.
  • Strong grounding in statistical methods and data management best practices.
