Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct industry and policy research that support the development, review and alignment of the organisation’s strategy by advising the Head, SCX on relevant internal and external factors that could impact on the operations.
  • Liaise with Departments and assess strategic and operational performance against planned. Investigate underlying issues and draft reports on compliance and variances against organizational strategy and annual plan.
  • Support the Head, SCX with the development of mitigations to minimise variance against organisational strategy.
  • Work with Head, SCX to develop monitoring tools and dashboards for strategy and business improvement initiatives
  • Apply monitoring tools and dashboards to assess performance of strategic and business improvement initiatives and draft reports of progress for Head, SCX
  • Utilise qualitative and quantitative research methodologies to ensure the delivery of quality, reliable and scientifically sound data for assessing organisational performance (people, processes and technology) and monitoring corporate performance improvement strategies.
  • Gather market intelligence to enhance the Bank’s knowledge base and its effectiveness in supporting strategy development and execution.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and research to generate reports that can be utilised in the organisation’s initiatives
  • Conduct market research into domestic customer needs and identify product and service offerings which will enhance the organisation’s ability to compete effectively.
  • Review customer touchpoints, journeys and channels in order to identify and recommend opportunities to cost-effectively improve customer experience and service delivery.
  • Carry out research into issues affecting financial inclusion and a culture of savings and propose innovative approaches to enhance access to financial services and products and to promote savings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Social Sciences, Strategic Management, Business Administration, Banking, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics or related area.
  • Two (2) years of experience in strategic management, business transformation, business improvement or operations in a consulting firm, major financial institution or public sector entity.
