Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for operating gas and oxygen-assisted furnaces used in the melting and treatment of molten metal prior to casting.
- charging raw materials
- monitoring furnace operations
- adjusting temperature and chemistry of molten metal
- controlling gas flow and furnace parameters
- ensuring proper discharge of molten metal for casting operations
Requirements
- Required to work responsibly without any supervision.
- Provide training on the shop floor.
- Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar industry.
