To effectively and efficiently carry out planned and non-scheduled diesel engine repairs and maintaining various types of heavy equipment, general inspection, correct flaws in automotive components,electrical, air conditions, fuel, valve mechanisms, linkages, oil systems, and traction units in accordance with SOPs and ISO values.

Key Responsibilities
- Collection of relevant data and information for reporting and decision-making purpose also in accordance with ISO values.
- Execution of planned and non-scheduled diesel equipment maintenances and repairs and undertaking general inspections and audits in accordance with SOPs and ISO values.
- Conducts inspections and audits as planned and guided.
- Accurately maintains inventory levels for repairs and maintenances through accurate record keeping and raises requisitions for servicing materials.
- Maintains Job Cards and other relevant documentation as reference point for equipment maintenances and repairs.
- Attendance of departmental meetings and other relevant communication forums.
- Demonstration of maximisation of time on execution of tasks.
- Ensure an understanding of the objectives of Performance Management System (PMS) and why it must be in place.
- Demonstration of risk management knowledge and applicable Policies and Procedures.
- Ensure that developed Emergency Plans are safely followed.
- Demonstrates an awareness on the organization’s definition of confidential information.
- Understanding of SHE Management Systems (ISO 45001 and ISO 14001).
Requirements
- National Craft Certificate (NCC) or equivalent.
- At least 3 years’ work experience.
- Accountability and Quality courteous.
- Problem solving skills and communication skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Capability to read and interpret technical documents, such as: OEM Maintenance plans.
- Computer literacy.
- Operators Testing Licence / Certificate
- Safety Consciousness
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Medically fit.
