Job Description

ABM University College invites suitably qualified and experienced candidates to apply for the Temporary Assistant Accountant – Receivables position tenable at its offices in Gaborone.

 Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Assistant Accountant – Receivables will assist in the day to day operations of the finance function as well overall efficient financial management of the institution.

Key Responsibilities

• Reconciles all income related general ledger accounts
• Carries out reconciliation of customer accounts
• Captures receipts
• Prepares and issues invoices
• Follows up debtors and collects payments from customers
• Receives registered list from admissions.

Job Requirements

Candidates must have a Degree in Accounting or equivalent. Possession of a professional accounting qualification will be an added advantage. Candidates must have a minimum 3 years post qualification experience working in a computerised accounting environment and be proficient in Pastel.
