Job Title: ASSISTANT IMPACT MANAGER (MAUN BASED – WITH FREQUENT VISITS TO COMMUNITIES | REPORTING TO IMPACT MANAGER)
Role Purpose:
The Assistant Impact Manager supports the Impact strategy by ensuring that social development, sustainability, and community empowerment initiatives are effectively implemented, monitored, and evaluated. This role combines program management with technical expertise in monitoring and evaluation (M&E) and ensures measurable results in areas such as Education, Research & Conservation, and Community Empowerment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and refining sustainability strategies aligned with company goals and stakeholder expectations.
- Support the design and implementation of strong Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) systems.
- Contribute to proposal evaluations for funding, ensuring alignment with impact priorities and sustainability objectives.
- Lead the design and implementation of frameworks to track impact indicators across education, conservation, and community empowerment.
- Produce monitoring and evaluation reports that measure program effectiveness and recommend improvements.
- Oversee funded partner projects, ensuring compliance with reporting standards and achievement of agreed outcomes.
- Build and maintain relationships with Partners, government departments, and community structures to foster collaboration.
- Organize CSR events, awareness campaigns, and employee volunteering initiatives.
- Assist with preparation of annual program budgets, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities and available resources.
- Monitor actual spending against approved budgets, flagging variances and recommending corrective actions.
- Make sure that all staff are aware of the CSR Policy & procedures and other company policies and standards.
Requirements
- Degree in Social Sciences with Post qualification in Monitoring & Evaluation
- Information Management Systems (IMS)
- Five (5) years in similar role.
- Experience in Project Management is an added advantage
- Good understanding of community structures and social dynamics
- Good working knowledge of the Microsoft Productivity Tools (Outlook, Word, Excel and Planner).
