Key Responsibilities

Requirements
- PhD in the field of Electrical and Electronics Engineering or related fields such as (Telecommunications, Computer Engineering, Power, Energy, Control) from a recognized institution.
- The candidate must be registered with Engineers Registration Board (ERB) Botswana.
- The candidate must be registered with Botswana Qualifications Authority (BQA) as an Assessor and Moderator or eligible to register within one (1) year of assumption of duty.
- At least six years post-doctoral experience in either teaching/lecturing/research or industry experience in the relevant field or discipline, at least four of which must be a Graduate Supervision including successful doctoral Students.
- Experience in teaching at tertiary level for at least 3 years
- A sustained and recent record of peer-reviewed publications and other research output over at least a six-year period (min. of 16 peer-reviewed publications of ISI journals / scopus or web of science indexed journals)
- Experience of obtaining external research funding
