Requirements

  • The ideal candidate should be a Chartered Accountant and with a practicing certificate preferably FCPA (Bots) or CA (SA) or equivalent.
  • Preference will be given to candidates who have worked for a “Big Four” audit firm with at least 20 years’ experience.
  • Formally served articles with a “Big Four” firm.
  • Undergone an executive development program.
  • Proven experience in handling audit assignments at an executive level in various sectors (e.g Entrepreneurial, Telecommunications, Financial Services, insurance, Retail, Construction, Mining, Education, Oil and Gas etc).
  • Proven experience in managing and co-ordinating a large team of professionals.
  • Proven experience in orchestrating service delivery from various business units to clients.
  • IFRS, ISA and IFAC knowledge and understanding.
  • Knowledge of the Ernst & Young audit methodology is an advantage.
  • Strong performance record
  • Strategic planning and conceptual! thinking ability in relation to client management and practice management/ development.
  • Strong commercial and business development focus.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Capable of effective delegation
