Repairs and overhauls electrical systems in automotive vehicles, identifying faults, and repair electrical wiring and computer-based equipment in vehicles and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
- Determines malfunction of electrical system by visual inspection of vehicles / equipment underground and on surfaces on day-to-day activities
- Repairs or replaces defective wiring in ignition, lighting, air conditioning and safety control systems
- Servicing of electrical automotive parts
- Fill up, control, update and maintenance records on daily basis
- Testing instruments and reading of circuit diagrams and find electrical fault, adjust engine control systems and timing to make sure vehicles are running at peak performance
- Compliance with the highest level of safety at workplace to avoid incidents and accidents
- Installation of electrical equipment as per operating procedures
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years work experience as an Auto Electrician for all types of equipment and vehicles
- Underground mining experience
- Skilled worker class One Journeyman card
- Ability to read and write reports in English
