Key Responsibilities

• Serves notices of appearance to defend, opposition, please and affidavits within the set standards and regulations.
• Serves notices of set down, notices of motion according to agreed standards and regulations.
• Submits return of service within the set standards and regulations.
• Serves eviction orders and evicts defendants.
• Drive LAB vehicles, displaying a standard of professionalism and undertake routine maintenance of vehicles.
• Ensures that logbooks are properly maintained and all transactions are entered.
• Delivers mail and other documents to Legal Aid Botswana clients.
• Reports accidents to nearest Police station and to the supervisor.
• Undertakes any other lawful tasks as may be assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

• Minimum of a Certificate in Law; require eligibility for certification from Registrar of High Court.
• Minimum of two (2) years driving experience in a similar type of office professional environment.
