We are hiring a reliable blockman to join our small butchery. Must be hands on, punctual and able to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Knife skill, cutting, deboning and portioning to specification
- Basic use and maintenance use of butchery (sharpening knifes, safe use of saws and grinders)
- Customer service and team work
- Weighing and pricing
Requirements
- Proven practical experience as a block man, butcher or meat cutter
- Able to lift up to 35kg and work flexible hours including weekends
- Weight 60kg or more
- Good numeracy for weighing and pricing, neat and professional presentation
