Boiler Maker – Master Farmer Feeds (Pty) Ltd

Master Farmer Feeds (Pty) Ltd has a vacancy for fully qualified and experienced Boiler Maker at its Feed Mill, Nutri Feeds Botswana in Pilane.

 

Key responsibilities will include:

• • • Must be able use a variety of hand tools related to boiler making.
    • Arc, Tungsten and Inert gas welding.
    • Grinding and cutting of stainless steel.
    • Assembling and disassembling of machines/equipment.
    • Must be familiar with safety issues related to boiler making.
    • Good housekeeping
    • Willing to work flexible hours and overtime.
    • Compliance to the job Card System
    • Report all defects to the maintenance Supervisor immediately.
    • Attend to call outs after hours.
    • Perform all routine scheduled maintenance tasks on equipment.

• Ensure all equipment in your assigned section is maintained and report any non—conformance to your Supervisor.
• You will be required to assist all other artisans (Fitters /Electrician etc) as required, especially in cases of breakdowns and emergencies.

To qualify for the position, candidates will require the following:

 

• National Craft Certificate Welding & Fabricating
• (NCC) in Welding & Fabricating Testimonial
• Welding & Fabricating Vocational C(T*P) level
• Welding & Fabricating Vocation Grade B level
• 2–5 years experience
