Key Responsibilities
- Repairing liquids and gas tanks, pressure vessels, conveyor systems and structural components
- Performing maintenance on earth moving gear, including bucket refurbishments and try repairs
- Fabrication and welding
- Technical drawing analysis through interpreting blueprints and specifications to repair or build equipment
- Conducting risk assessment, adhering to all safety protocols and ensuring structural integrity
- Inspection of equipment for proper functioning
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years work experience as a Boilermaker in a mining environment
- Underground mining experience
- Skilled worker class One Journeyman card
- Ability to read and write reports in English
- Strong welding skills
