KGARE INSURANCE BROKERS is seeking to appoint a Branch Administrator – Francistown. The Administrator shall assist on all aspects of client services and office processes and claims administration and processing. The role includes responding to client enquiries, entering and analysing data, as well as identifying inconsistencies or any missing information.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the processing of renewals and endorsements on a day-to-day basis.
- Liaise with insurers on operational issues including premium payments and claims recoveries.
- Timeously report all lapses and potential lapses to minimize loss of business
- Adhere to technical and procedure manuals as a standard of performance
- Submission of claims documents to insurers and effecting systematic follow ups to attain early settlement and/or resolution of claims.
- Compliance with internal systems for processing claims
- Liaise with relevant Line Manager on all large, complex, problematic or repudiated claims.
- Assist in sourcing quotations through selective benchmarking, and issuing closing instructions to insurers.
- Receive and record notifications of new claims from clients.
- Register all claims in the claims register and uploading all data in Insurance System.
- Checking correctness and validity of all claims documents including confirmation of cover before submitting claims to insurers.
- Collect all premiums in line with the company Credit Policy.
- Assist in preparation of monthly and weekly performance reports for the team
- Maintain service standards on underwriting and claims
Requirements
- Qualifications: Minimum of Certificate of Proficiency in Insurance and progressing towards CIP or IISA. A Bachelors’ Degree is an added advantage or any related business/commercial degree.
