The Business Development Manager is responsible for the managing and development of Scania’s overall commercial-sales operations. Person is responsible for implementing targets, policies and common standards while promoting the Scania brand and for guiding and supporting the Sales force in a solution sales approach.

- Develop the Scania solution sales business through effective marketing activities.
- Develop and implement improvement strategies to maximise market penetration and profitability.
- Prepare business plans, budgeting and forecasts.
- Manage personnel requirements.
Requirements
- Education in a relevant discipline or
- Relevant business experience and technical knowledge in a relevant Market
- Sound knowledge and experience of Botswana business and business culture.
- Extensive managerial and leadership experience.
- Good strategic and people management skills.
- Understanding of legal compliances related to Finance and the Commercial Vehicle market.
- Effective negotiation and influencing skills.
- Experience in customer relationship management systems.
- Experience in Commercial vehicle organization mandatory.
- Clear understanding of management accounts and budget forecasts.
