Key Responsibilities
- Conduct audits and reviews of existing business processes to identify gaps, inefficiencies, risks and areas for improvement.
- Analyse existing workflows and identify what is not working, why issues are occurring and their potential impact and cost to the business.
- Map and document core business processes including Reception, Billing, Compliance and Patient Management.
- Develop clear and practical Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for key operational functions.
- Develop daily and weekly process checklists for front desk and administrative staff.
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, accountability and customer experience.
- Review processes against applicable policies, standards and compliance requirements.
- Analyse operational data and findings to support evidence-based recommendations.
- Develop practical step-by-step recommendations to address identified gaps and improve business performance.
- Assist in establishing controls and monitoring mechanisms to ensure that documented processes are consistently followed.
- Support the implementation of process improvements and monitor their effectiveness.
- Conduct a handover and training session to equip staff with the knowledge required to implement the new processes.
- Prepare comprehensive process audit and gap analysis reports for management.
Requirements
- Degree in Business Data Intelligence, Business Information Systems, Business Administration or a related field.
- At least 1 year of relevant experience.
- Strong understanding of business process analysis, business audits and process improvement.
- Knowledge of business process mapping, workflow analysis and gap analysis.
- Understanding of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and process documentation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to identify operational risks, inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement.
