Uncharted Africa Safari Co. is seeking applications for the following positions:
Overall responsibility for camp operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, strong staff leadership, effective administration, and full compliance with company, statutory, and environmental standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage day-to-day camp operations in line with UA brand standards.
- Deliver consistently high-quality and personalised guest experiences.
- Oversee administration, procurement discipline, expenditure control, and stock management.
- Manage staff performance, development, discipline, morale, and HR compliance.
- Ensure compliance with Safety, Health & Environmental (SHE) standards and emergency procedures.
- Oversee food quality, hygiene, menu execution, and coordination with the Head Chef.
- Coordinate maintenance of infrastructure, vehicles, utilities, and equipment.
- Build and maintain relationships with communities and external stakeholders.
Requirements
- Degree in Tourism, Hospitality, or Business-related field.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role in a 4/5 star lodge/camp environment.
- Proven leadership and financial management experience.
- Valid driver’s licence.
