We are looking for a skilled and reliable Car Tracking Technician with previous experience working in a pawn shop environment. The ideal candidate must be comfortable installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting vehicle tracking systems, especially on financed or pawned vehicles.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and remove vehicle tracking devices accurately and discreetly
- Diagnose and troubleshoot tracking system faults
- Conduct maintenance and system checks on installed trackers
- Ensure trackers are correctly configured and reporting in real time
- Work closely with pawn shop operations and recovery teams
- Maintain proper installation records and job reports
- Adhere to company procedures, safety standards, and confidentiality policies
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Car Tracking Technician
- Previous work experience in a pawn shop or vehicle finance environment is mandatory
- Strong knowledge of vehicle electrical systems
- Ability to install trackers on different vehicle makes and models
- Basic understanding of GPS/GSM tracking platforms
- Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and under minimal supervision
- Honest, reliable, and trustworthy
- Valid driver’s license (Must have)
