We are looking for a skilled, reliable and hardworking Carpenter to join our team on a temporary basis. The successful candidate will construct, assemble, install, repair and finish quality wooden furniture and fittings in accordance with required designs, measurements and specifications, while safely operating woodworking tools and machinery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manufacture and assemble beds, kitchen units, chairs, couches, tables, cabinets and other furniture.
  • Measure, cut, shape, join, sand and finish wood and board materials.
  • Read and interpret drawings, designs and measurements.
  • Operate woodworking machines, power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently.
  • Install doors, frames, cabinets and other wooden fittings.
  • Repair and modify furniture and wooden structures when required.
  • Maintain tools, machinery and equipment in good working condition.
  • Ensure high-quality workmanship and professional finishing.
  • Maintain a clean and safe workshop/work area.
  • Follow all health and safety procedures and meet production deadlines.
