VACANCY
BACKGROUND
New Delights (Pty) Ltd t/a African Hero Botswana, a proudly African-owned enterprise, is expanding its operations into Botswana. As part of this strategic growth, we are looking for a highly qualified and experienced Chartered Accountant to lead financial management and corporate governance.
PURPOSE OF THE JOB
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Chartered Accountant will be responsible for managing the financial operations of the company, ensuring compliance with international financial reporting standards, and providing strategic financial advice to support business growth.
BRIEF JOB PROFILE OF POSITION
Key responsibilities will include:
•Leading the budgeting, forecasting, and annual financial planning processes.
•Preparing and presenting financial statements and management reports.
•Ensuring compliance with tax and regulatory requirements.
•Implementing internal controls and risk management procedures.
•Providing financial advice and insights to support project decision-making.
•Liaising with tax authorities and external auditors.
•Assisting in the setup of finance systems and processes for new projects.

•Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
•Fully qualified Chartered Accountant.
•Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
•Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a senior accounting or finance role.
•Proven track record of delivering large-scale or multi-stakeholder projects.
•Experience working across various industries or in expansion-driven environments is desirable.
