Job Title: Chicken Abattoir Assistant

Role Purpose:
We are looking for a hardworking and reliable Chicken Abattoir Assistant with experience in operating processing machines to join our team immediately. The successful candidate will assist with poultry processing operations and ensure machines are operated safely and efficiently within the abattoir.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with daily poultry processing operations in the abattoir.
  • Operate and monitor chicken processing machines and equipment.
  • Ensure proper handling, slaughtering, and processing of chickens according to hygiene and safety standards.
  • Clean and maintain machines and work areas to meet food safety requirements.
  • Report any machine faults or operational issues to the supervisor.
  • Assist with packaging, storage, and preparation of processed poultry products.
  • Follow workplace health, safety, and hygiene regulations at all times.

Requirements

  • Experience working in a chicken abattoir or poultry processing facility.
  • Experience operating food processing or abattoir machines.
  • Physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willing to work in Modipane.
  • Ability to follow hygiene and safety procedures.
  • Must be reliable and able to start immediately.
