Key Responsibilities
- Financial Leadership & Reporting | Lead the finance function and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting to management and the Board.
- Budgeting & Forecasting | Lead budgeting and forecasting processes and monitor financial performance against approved plans.
- Cash Flow & Working Capital | Oversee cash flow, debtors, creditors and working capital to support the Company’s liquidity requirements.
- Financial Controls & Compliance | Maintain effective financial controls and ensure compliance with applicable financial, tax and statutory requirements.
- Commercial Finance | Provide financial analysis and commercial insight to support contracts, pricing, margins and key business decisions.
- Funding & Capital Management | Manage banking relationships, funding requirements and the effective utilisation of the Company’s financial resources.
- Strategy & Growth | Provide financial and commercial input into strategic initiatives, investments and growth opportunities.
- Finance Team & Systems | Lead the finance team and strengthen financial systems, processes and management information.
Requirements
- Qualification: A recognised professional accounting qualification (e.g. CA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) is required. A relevant degree in accounting, finance, commerce or a related field would be advantageous.
- Experience: At least eight (8) years’ finance experience, including demonstrated experience in a senior financial management or leadership role. Experience within a contracting, mining, construction, project or similar commercial environment would be advantageous.
