EH CONSTRUCTION (PTY) LTD is seeking to appoint a CONSTRUCTION PLANT MANAGER. The Construction Plant Manager will oversee the daily operations of the Plant & Workshop department of the company and ensuring efficiency, safety and optimal productivity while managing staff and resources.

Key Responsibilities

Assisting entire operation of the plant and machinery with full Adv technical support
Monitor Day-to-day program scheduling for deliveries to various sites.
Coordinates the overall maintenance activities through planning and communication with peers, team members, customers (internal and external), suppliers and technical staff.
Financial controls and costing discipline
Responsible for implementing a cost-effective preventative maintenance program to maintain production equipment in safe operating manner.
Co-ordination with sales & purchase depts for the effective output of the plant.
Establish and monitor quality standards to ensure products meet specification and regulatory requirements.
Ensures team members are trained to guarantee proper skill sets are developed and improved daily.
Completes performance evaluations and counselling session timely
Manage all aspects of plant operations, including production, maintenance, and quality control.
Develop and implement production schedules to meet projects demands while optimizing resources utilization.

Requirements

NTC 5
NCC – Earthmoving equipment
Deutz Diesel Engines
Proven track record as a Plant Manager in the civil engineering industry.
Strong knowledge of electro technicality fitting and training
The applicant must have at least 25 years’ experience in a Senior/Managerial Position
