Key Responsibilities

• Data collection, cleaning, validation, and quality monitoring across multiple data sources.
• Support exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of dashboards, reports, and visualisations for business stakeholders.
• Assist in developing, testing, and validating statistical and machine learning models for predictive analytics and business optimisation.
• Prepare documentation and user guides for developed solutions.
• Provide support in training business users on analytics tools and dashboards.
• Automation of data processes and maintain analytical code and workflows.
• Perform any other tasks in support of the Data Analysts and Data Scientists within the department.

Requirements

• BSc Data Analytics/Data Science/Statistics/Computer Science/Applied Mathematics
• Programming in python
• Statistical modelling
• Machine learning
• Ability to:
• Program in various languages such as python and R
• Apply statistical reasoning to business problems
• Research
• Think critically when problem solving
• Visualise data in an aesthetically pleasing and informative way
• Communicate results in a clear and logical manner
• Knowledge of health, safety and environment policies, procedures and the importance of consistently demonstrating and upholding corporate values and regulatory requirements
