BAMANGWATO MOTORS (Pty) Ltd, a franchised dealership of Toyota South Africa Motors which is based in Selebi-Phikwe, Botswana, has an opportunity for a candidate with proven leadership ability to lead the dealership as the Dealer Principal of the Company. This position is regarded as a Key Senior Management role reporting directly to the Group Managing Director. The successful candidate is responsible for the overall business performance as required from a Professional Automotive Business and in so doing maximizing profitability and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain adequate and skilled staff efficiencies to meet given sales requirements in all departments, in order to create maximum profitability for the company whilst providing total customer satisfaction.
- Ensure all departments achieve their monthly sales and costs objectives in line with determined budgetary requirements thus ensuring the continued viability of the Company.
- Continually monitor the financial status on a daily/weekly basis to achieve financial objectives via sales, service, customer satisfaction and retention.
- Personally, examine on a monthly basis all financials, operating controls and composite reports for accuracy and to initiate improvement or corrective action promptly where required.
- Ensure that the franchiser’s standards and requirements are met at all times.
- Ensure all statutory and franchised based green charter requirements are adhered to.
Requirements
- Minimum 15 years’ experience within a Franchised Motor Dealership of which 5 years should be in a managerial position ideally of a Dealer Principal.
- Extensive knowledge of the operational requirements of a Motor Dealership, Dealer Management Systems (DMS) and disciplines of the operation.
- Forward thinking and energetic individual with great understanding of current market challenges not limited to the Automotive industry.
- Ability to work under pressure with integrity, positive attitude and strong leadership skills.
- A Tertiary Qualification is an added advantage.
