Job Title: Development Engineer
Role Purpose:
You lead delivery of 90 MW across utility and PPP sites. You move projects from concept to signed deals. You solve issues early. You keep momentum. You close.
Key Responsibilities
- Site screening and feasibility
- Grid studies and connection process
- Land and permits
- EPC completion an budgets
- Financial models with lenders and investors
- Risk register and mitigations
- Term sheets, PFRs, leases and PPP agreements
- Lender due diligence and financial close execution
- Bankable project pipeline
- Clear schedules and milestones
- Data room ready for lenders
- Capex and yield accuracy
- On time financial close
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical, Mechanical, or Renewable Energy Engineering
- 5 plus years in solar or infrastructure development
- Utility scale or C and I portfolio experience
- Strong financial modeling skills
- Contract negoitation experience
- Grid and permitting knowledge in Southern Africa
- High accountability. You finish work.
