Key Responsibilities

• Ensure proper core handling, labelling and storage
• Oversee maintenance schedules for drilling machinery and tools to ensure reliable performance
• Ensure compliance with safety, health and environmental regulations
• Provide technical guidance and advisory support to drilling teams
• Must always be ready for emergency and investigation knowledge
• Must be able to analyse and manage project risks, deadlines, performance as well as training and team building

Requirements

• Must have minimum of 15 years working experience in the field of drilling
• Must have knowledge of surface and underground drilling operations
• Should have national vocational certificate in Exploration Drilling Advisor
• Certificate in Diamond Drilling level 3
• Certificate in Anglo American A2 operational risk management and task risk management
