DIESEL MECHANIC – JWANENG DEBSWANA MINE (3 YEAR CONTRACT)

Core Responsibilities

• Fix and mobile equipment maintenance, service and inspections

• Mobile Manufacturing Units (MMU’s) Calibrations

• Assist the Maintenance Manager with engineering or capital projects management

• Maintenance related monthly reporting to Maintenance and Site Managers

• Maintenance scheduling and forecasting

• Equipment breakdown repairs and planned maintenance

• Critical and other spares management

• Equipment availabilities management

• Carry out maintenance of light duty vehicles

• Assist the Maintenance Manager implement the maintenance strategy and manage assets

• Maintenance related store keeping

Qualifications, Experience and Skills Requirements

• At least a Diploma or NCC in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical)

• At least 4 years’ experience in a similar, explosives equipment maintenance environment

• Knowledge of MMUs and pump maintenance

• Valid class B driver’s licence

• Experience in maintenance of explosives manufacturing plants

• Must be a Batswana

• Must be able to speak Setswana and English fluently

• Knowledge and experience in AECI products is an added advantage
