Requirements
- Trade qualification as a Diesel Mechanic (essential), with traceable references
- Post-trade experience in the maintenance and operation of crushing and screening plants
- Hands-on experience with Metso crushing and screening equipment and Volvo earthmoving machinery
- Mechanical, hydraulic and fault-finding skills
- Proven experience in preventive maintenance systems and breakdown management
- Experience ensuring compliance with safety, health and environmental requirements in a mining or quarry environment
- Ability to identify, diagnose and resolve mechanical and production-related issues timeously
- Must be able to work independently, under pressure and in remote site conditions
Salary
