**Job Title:**
Driller Supervisor – Botswana
**Role Purpose:**
Driller Supervisor – Fixed-term role at Botswana project sites (FIFO/site-based). Oversees drilling operations to deliver safe, efficient, and productive outcomes in accordance with company procedures and applicable regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily drilling operations to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant execution.
- Lead and manage drillers and drilling crews, enforcing site rules, safe work practices, and discipline.
- Monitor drilling performance, productivity, equipment utilisation, and adherence to drilling programs and client requirements.
- Prepare and submit daily reports on drilling progress, incidents, and operational issues, coordinating with maintenance, geology, and site teams.
Requirements
- Minimum 15 years’ experience in drilling operations, including supervisory responsibilities.
- Proven experience as a Driller or Driller Supervisor, with strong knowledge of drilling methods, equipment, and a demonstrated commitment to CorePlan principles and a strong safety culture.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage drilling teams in remote site environments, addressing operational, safety, and productivity challenges.
- Hold a minimum of Cert 4 drilling qualification from ADIA or similar recognized drilling Qualification from a recognized drill training institution
- Experience using digital drilling and reporting systems (electronic drill logs, production and safety reporting platforms), with good communication and reporting skills; additional drilling and safety certifications are an advantage.
