Key Responsibilities
- To operate any of the vehicles covered by class B.
- Operates light motor vehicle up to 3500kg maximum weight including trailer (750kg) and any other permitted by the licence.
- Performs routine vehicle maintenance, which includes removal and fitment ashing of vehicles and ensuring that tyres are inflated to correct pressure.
- Performs pre-trip inspection and ensures that the vehicles they are assigned is road worthy.
- Ensures proper loading of authorised loads, the security and safety of loads being carried and safe unloading of their vehicles at destination.
- Undertake any other related duties as required to meet the exigencies of the service.
Requirements
- Candidates must hold Junior Certificate (JC) only and must be in possession of Botswana Driver’s License Class B.
- 18 years to 45 years old.
- Minimum of 2 years proven driving experience.
