DRIVER – Johnsor

Responsibilities

• To safely transport company various products and staff to and from specified locations in a timely manner.
• Assisting in the loading and offloading of products and materials.
• Promptly inform the company of any tickets issued against the vehicle during work hours.
• Maintenance and care of the vehicle assigned.
• Provide accurate company clock-in and clock-outs of the vehicle.
• Ensure that the company vehicle is always parked in areas that permit parking to avoid towing.
• Report any accidents, injuries and vehicle damage to management.
• Schedule regular car service appointments and report issues.

Qualifications/experience

The applicant must possess the following;

• A valid Class B driver’s license.
• 2 year experience as a driver.
• Knowledge of area roads and neighborhoods.
• Ability to remain calm in stressful driving situations (e.g. rush hour)
• Effective communication skills
• Personable, professional demeanour.
• A clean driving record.
• A professional and polite disposition.
• Heavy duty would be an advantage
