The Driver Messenger will be responsible for providing reliable driving and messenger services by safely transporting staff, documents, and materials while supporting administrative and operational activities in accordance with company procedures and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Delivering and collecting official documents, parcels, and supplies between offices, suppliers, and government departments.
- Ensuring vehicle cleanliness, roadworthiness, and completion of daily vehicle inspection checklists.
- Maintaining accurate trip logs, fuel records, and vehicle usage reports.
- Assisting with loading and offloading of materials when required.
- Ensuring safe custody and timely delivery of confidential documents.
- Reporting vehicle defects, accidents, or incidents immediately to the supervisor.
- Complying with road safety regulations and company driving policies.
- Supporting office administration with errands and general messenger duties.
- Performing other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
- Driving company vehicles/buses to transport staff, documents, and small cargo to designated locations.
Requirements
- BGCSE
- PrDP License (Special and Passenger)
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in similar job
- Unrestricted PSV with at least 4 years’ experience.
- Defensive driving certificate will be added advantage
- A valid class B driver’s license and good driving record is a must for all positions.
