DRIVER/MESSENGER – Tebelopele Wellness Center (TWC) 1156 views

Key Responsibilities

• Driving duties, basic vehicle supervision and carrying out messengerial duties as and when needed, in a timely and professional manner.
• Transporting employees and/or clients as required.
• Assisting in loading and offloading Tebelopele supplies and equipment.
• Ensuring that all vehicles are kept clean.
• Inspecting vehicles on a regular basis, reporting defects and ensuring that maintenance and repairs are satisfactorily carried out.
• Ensuring that all trips are pre-authorized, and that the vehicle logbook is completed before and after each trip.
• Transport support service.
• Vehicle maintenance.
• Community mobilization and outreach.
• Messenger duties.
• Cleanliness and orderliness of assigned vehicle.
• Vehicle safety assessment to ensure road worthiness.
• Monthly vehicle and fuel reports.

Requirements

• Cambridge Certificate or equivalent.
• Light vehicle driving license (Class B).
• EC and PrDP licenses.
• Five (5) years professional driving experience.
• Familiarity with applicable traffic laws and regulations.
• Knowledge of geographic location of Tebelopele centres and other key locations.
• Up to date knowledge of the issues surrounding HIV/AIDS in Botswana and internationally.
• Good communication & report writing skills.
