JOB OVERVIEW:

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled
Extra Heavy-Duty Driver Trainer to join our team. This individual will
be responsible for training new and existing drivers in the safe and
efficient operation of extra heavy-duty vehicles, including manual
transmission trucks. The ideal candidate will have extensive handson driving experience, knowledge of road safety regulations, and a
passion for educating and mentoring others in the transportation
industry.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Conduct practical and theoretical training sessions for new and
existing drivers
• Offer ongoing Mentoring and coaching to drivers
• Assess and moderate training materials
• Asses the progress of each driver during after training to ensure
they meet company standards and regulatory requirements
• Ensure that drivers are proficient in the operation and basic
troubleshooting of the vehicle they drive including manual gear
boxes, heavy-duty trucks and any specialized equipment used

REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS
• Minimum of 10 years of experience driving extra heavy-duty
trucks, with a focus on manual gearboxes and long-distance
driving.
• At least 5-10 years of experience in a driver training or mentorship
role, preferably within the transportation or logistics industry.
• Experience in cross-border driving, navigating challenging
terrains, and operating vehicles with manual transmissions.
• Trainee of Trainers qualification (T0T)
• Accredited by BQA as Trainer and Assessor
