Great Explorations/ Xigera Safari Lodge is looking for a qualified and well experienced and technical skills in electricals, mature, and suitable person to join their team in the capacity of an Electrician based at Xigera Safari Camp in the Delta. The position entails trouble shooting and repairing malfunctional electrical equipment, evaluating, testing, and maintaining electronic wiring, maintaining good stock controls, and making sure that safety measures are always followed within the working environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Trouble shooting and repairing malfunctional electrical equipment
- Evaluating, testing, and maintaining electronic wiring
- Maintaining good stock controls
- Making sure that safety measures are always followed within the working environment
- Perform preventative maintenance measures on a regular schedule
Requirements
- Diploma or National Certificate in electrical engineering
- 5 years working experience working as an electrical Technician
- Extensive knowledge on Solar power and other electrical appliances
- Proficient with manual and power tools
- Competent in firefighting techniques
- The candidate must demonstrate high exceptional leadership skills and a team member
- Clean fingerprints clearance will be a requirement
- Driver’s license and leadership training will be an added advantage
