ENFORCEMENT OFFICER – Gambling Authority 112 views

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute towards the implementation of the Authority’s corporate and enforcement strategy
• Implement the Authority’s regulatory compliance policies, processes and procedures
• Assist with investigations relating to illegal gambling activities and regulatory breaches
• Assist with monitoring activities aimed at identifying suspicious gambling related activities, including anti money laundering matters
• Conduct investigations triggered by suspicious behaviour, tip offs or indications of non compliance
• Analyse and compile evidence to support enforcement and investigation activities
• Liaise with law enforcement agencies on identified compliance breaches and illegal gambling activities
• Compile periodic reports arising from monitoring and investigative activities
• Develop and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders to promote awareness of the Authority’s mandate
• Undertake other duties as directed by the supervisor

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Law, Criminology or related field
• At least three (3) years’ experience in a similar role
• Understanding of investigations, compliance monitoring or regulatory environments
• Strong analytical and report writing skills
