Key Responsibilities
- It has to be noted that North West District Council is not obliged to accept neither any offer nor should be construed that there would be a commitment to lease any property registered with the Council. Those who offer/register their properties in response to this invitation are free to withdraw their registration offer(s) anytime if they wish or find alternative tenants and must inform the Council.
- The terms and conditions of the lease will be in accordance with the standard lease agreement approved by Council, a copy of which can be obtainable from NWDC.
- Council will consider prices that are within the market price range for Maun locality.
- Rental shall be negotiated between the two parties considering location factor and workmanship
- Successful property owners will be notified through an offer letter and followed by signing of a contract.

- All standard fittings/fixtures (fitted kitchen cupboards, fitted walldrobes, ceiling, floor tiles, geyser, burglar bars-doors & windows)

- For Multi residential, there must be separation of water metres and electricity meters
- All units must be provided with washing lines and dust bins
- The units must be accessible by both private and public transport
- Site visit. Council reserves the right to inspect the proposed house for verification & compliance purposes.
