Key Responsibilities
- Approve the Land Management strategy and monitor implementation of the strategic direction and institutional priorities
- Ensure that the Land Management institutions operate in accordance with their enabling legislation and at the highest standards of governance.
- Provide strategic leadership and governance oversight for Land Management structures;
- Provide strategic advice on land administration, land allocation and development plans
- Advise the Minister on major land governance, policy and reform matters;
- Oversee the Land Management institutions financial performance and long-term sustainability;
- Provide oversight on investment, revenue mobilisation, donor funding, grants and strategic partnerships;
