SOS Children’s Villages is an international non-governmental social development organisation active in the field of children’s rights. The organisation focuses on family-based, long-term care for children without parental care and supports disadvantaged families through strengthening programmes. The Face to Face (F2F) Project is an international fundraising method involving teamwork to approach people directly in public spaces, offices, or door-to-door to invite them to become “SOS Friends” (regular monthly donors via direct debit).
Key Responsibilities
- Represent the largest organisation in the world with a differentiated model of childcare.
- Use a direct approach to people at malls, offices, door-to-door (D2D), or via mail to explain the work of the organization.
- Attract new SOS friends (regular donors) to SOS Children’s Villages.
- Work within fundraising teams (X4) based in Gaborone and Francistown.
Requirements
- Must be communicative and enjoy teamwork.
- Willingness to undergo appropriate training for the role.
- Remuneration comprises a fixed base salary plus commissions for each regular donor referred.
