Joneil Healthcare Group (Proprietary) Limited is a hospital management & healthcare consulting company registered in Botswana. We are looking for the services of a Family Physician based in Selibe Phikwe.

Job Title: Family Physician

Location: Selibe Phikwe

Job Summary:

The Family Physician for Joneil Healthcare Group will be expected to be involved in the initial set-up of the facility, conducting thorough medical examinations, diagnosing and treating various medical conditions, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care. The Family Physician should be a dedicated and patient-focused Practitioner to contribute to the well-being of our community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct medical examinations and assessments of patients.
• Diagnose and treat a wide range of medical conditions, including chronic and acute illnesses.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans for patients based on their medical history, symptoms, and diagnostic findings.
• Prescribe medications and other therapeutic interventions as needed.
• Provide preventive care services, including vaccinations, health screenings, and lifestyle counselling.
• Promote healthy living and disease prevention within the community.
• Collaborate with specialists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
• Consult with and refer patients to specialists as necessary.
• Educate patients about their medical conditions, treatment options, and preventive measures.
• Ensure clear communication of medical information to patients and their families.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for all patients.
• Ensure compliance with documentation standards and privacy regulations.
• Stay updated on medical advancements, treatment protocols, and best practices.
• Participate in continuing medical education activities to enhance knowledge and skills.

Qualifications:

• Medical degree from an accredited institution.
• Post Graduate degree in Medicine.
• Registration with the Botswana Health Professions Council
• At least 5 years of experience as a Family Physician.
• Strong diagnostic and decision-making skills.
