Key Responsibilities

• Rearing, feeding, treatment and oversee livestock.
• Managing maintenance of equipment, fencing, roads and infrastructure
• Overseeing water system including dams, boreholes, pumps and pipelines
• Animal feeds farming which includes but not limited to planting, watering, weeding and harvesting
• Landscaping and maintenance of the compound
• Ability to operate crane truck, lifting and rigging
• Operating and overseeing plant machinery
• Ensuring safety, maintenance and repair of structures, farm equipment and supplies

Requirements

• Valid heavy duty drivers’ licence with 10 years
• Certificate in rigging with 10 years experience
• 2+ years of experience in the farming environment
• Strong understanding of both mechanical and electrical works related to machinery.
• Valid driver’s license required
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting and collaborate with a team as needed.
