Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with all farm activities such as preparing fields, planting, cultivating, irrigating, fertilising and harvesting crops
  • Operate and maintain agricultural machinery and equipment
  • Feed, groom and care for livestock
  • Carry out general maintenance and repairs to farm buildings and equipment
  • Keep records of farm activities and stock
  • Assist with the loading, unloading and storage of farm produce
  • Carry out general farm duties as required

Requirements

  • Must have practical knowledge and experience in horticulture and livestock farming.
  • Ability to work outdoors in all weathers
  • Physically fit and able to undertake manual labour
  • Ability to use agricultural machinery and tools
  • Knowledge of animal husbandry, crop cultivation and harvesting
