Key Responsibilities
- Assist with all farm activities such as preparing fields, planting, cultivating, irrigating, fertilising and harvesting crops
- Operate and maintain agricultural machinery and equipment
- Feed, groom and care for livestock
- Carry out general maintenance and repairs to farm buildings and equipment
- Keep records of farm activities and stock
- Assist with the loading, unloading and storage of farm produce
- Carry out general farm duties as required
Requirements
- Must have practical knowledge and experience in horticulture and livestock farming.
- Ability to work outdoors in all weathers
- Physically fit and able to undertake manual labour
- Ability to use agricultural machinery and tools
- Knowledge of animal husbandry, crop cultivation and harvesting
- Being able to work long hours and during weekends and holidays.
