The three-year training program is designed to provide adolescent focused clinical service, teaching, and medical education/research scholarship primarily based in Botswana. Attaining these skills will position the Pincus Global Health Fellow to become a leader in the field of adolescent global health. Adolescent medicine is a specialty that focuses on the overall health and well-being of adolescents and young adults keeping their development at the centre of our work. The Fellow’s training experiences are focused on both in- and out-patient care of adolescents and young adults. A key component of the fellowship is medical education with curriculum planning and delivery and development of training as central. This includes teaching students, fellows, and residents as well as developing a sub-specialty training program.
