Camusat Botswana is seeking a qualified and experienced Field Maintenance Engineer (FME) to join the Operations & Maintenance Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of telecom passive infrastructure including diesel generators, AC/DC power systems, solar systems, air conditioners, tower infrastructure, fuel monitoring systems, and associated site equipment. The role requires responding to network faults, conducting preventive maintenance, and ensuring maximum network availability while maintaining high Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on telecom sites.
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests.
- Maintain generators, AC/DC systems, UPS systems, solar installations, towers, and air conditioners.
- Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults.
- Prepare maintenance reports.
- Ensure compliance with HSE policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties assigned by management.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Electronic Engineering, or related field.
- Electrical and Mechanical Installation Certification is mandatory.
- Three (3) to five (5) years’ experience in electrical and mechanical maintenance.
- Experience maintaining telecom power systems, generators, UPS systems, solar systems, and associated infrastructure.
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
- Good communication and reporting skills.
- Computer literacy (Microsoft Office).
- Ability to work independently and under pressure.
- Strong commitment to HSE standards.
- Willingness to travel and work outside normal business hours when required.
