Key Responsibilities
- Ensure all finances are managed in alignment with BCD financial policies and procedures
- Liaise with the Projects team to prepare, review and revise project budget and expenditure forecasts
- Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports
- Ensure applicable tax withholding and deductions are paid to BURS
- Maintain up-to-date bank account reconciliations
- Prepare financial reports as necessary and provide technical support across departments
- Monitor and manage business travel for staff including review and processing of travel authorization, travel advance requests, travel expense reports, logistics arrangement for transportation and accommodation
- Donor funded financial management
- Ensure maintenance of the office filing system and maintain project-related files, documents, and assets
- Support leadership with strategic financial planning
