Key Responsibilities

  • The incumbent will be responsible for ensuring compliance with financial and commercial management principles, as well as corporate governance standards within the Company.
  • The role requires the ability to plan, organize, and control the maintenance of accounting records to ensure accurate accounting of all financial transactions, and the timely preparation of financial statements and reports that accurately reflect the true financial position of the Company.

Requirements

  • A minimum qualification – Chartered Accountant or equivalent
  • A Fellow member of the Botswana Institute of Chartered Accountants (BICA)
  • A minimum of five (5) years’ experience as a Finance Manager or Senior Finance Manager in a commercial accounting environment within the food manufacturing industry, with exposure to highly computerized financial systems.
  • Sound knowledge of procurement processes and services.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems.
  • Excellent understanding of general business principles, corporate governance, internal controls, and commercial operations.
